Introducing: OrSlow

Pleased is an understatement when it comes to the fact that we're working with orSlow. They've been on our brand "bucket list" for a while, so when we had a chance to see the line live in New York a few years back...we knew it was only a matter of time.

The brand is everything we love - vintage-inspired designs with a modern branding approach and quality at the forefront of their ethos. It's all in the name, as they're the antidote to modern fast fashion...they do things slowly!

Olive Reverse Sateen Slim Fit Fatigue Pants

This one is quite a bit of a legend. Everyone either has a pair of these or wants them. They're that same horizontally textured reverse sateen as the shirt, just in pant form. The hand feel on the slubbiness you see in those up-close shots is like butter. They call them heavyweight, but they're so comfortable on the skin. You'll see little details all over that harken back to the US Army pair these are mirrored from. We're talking side-tab waist adjustments, front patch pockets, and button closures galore. We see these pants being a staple for us long-term...that is if we can keep them in stock.

  • Custom Reverse Sateen Fabric

  • Period Correct Buttons

  • Pre-Washed

  • Custom Woven Labels

  • Side-Tab Adjustments

Kintaro Denim Apron - One Wash

This thing was simply too fun, and we love the script too much not to have one for the shop. We're on the fence about whether we should hang it as display, but we're gonna give it a shot and see if anyone needs this in their life as bad as we did. It's their original flecky 9oz denim fabric with lots of character and hairiness. The screenprint is an added bonus for us.

105 Standard Fit Denim - One Wash

The 105 is an icon at this point. We're just the latest to get our hands on it. It existed in all its glory before we came along, and it will hopefully exist long after. The first thing everyone notices with this pair is the verdigris (patina) that forms on the copper rivets. It's funny how simple things like this get us going...but we're simple and they know that it's the small details that tug our heartstrings. The fabric itself is as traditional as can be. It's a 13.5oz proprietary denim meant to mimic that of the 66' 501. It's got just the tiniest amount of slub, but lots of really nice hair. Looking at it on the microscopic level is like looking through a field of dandelions. Scope all the details below on this pair that does all the small things right.

  • 13.5oz Proprietary Denim

  • Slightly Harry, Slubby Texture

  • Oxidized Copper Rivets

  • orSlow Shank Fly Buttons

  • One Wash

  • Custom Woven Labels

  • Made in Osaka, Japan

Olive Reverse Sateen Fatigue Shirt

If you can't tell by now, we love fatigue shirts. This one is very easily our favorite. It's a beautiful, horizontally-textured reverse sateen with the buttons that are so familiar to all of us, yet so hard to describe. It's almost like they've taken all of the shiny stuff of urea buttons and what your left with is this texturily satisfying almost rubber like hand feel. That's enough about buttons, though. This double chest pocket fatigue is perfectly simple with all the right tags and details in all the right places.

  • Custom Reverse Sateen Fabric

  • Period Correct Dyed Buttons

  • Pre-Washed

  • Custom Woven Labels

  • Pen Slot in Upper Left Pocket

  • Made in Osaka, Japan

1950's Denim Coverall Jacket - One Wash

This jacket is a 1950's coverall inspiration. It was an instant yes for us with all its flecky texture and copper buttons. The raglan sleeve, wrapped seams, and pockets all lend to the beautiful curvature of this piece. At 9oz, it's a great lightweight jacket to be worn with layers while "covering all." You'll notice little hints of branding throughout in all the right places including those spectacular copper buttons. This is a classic five-pocket - the fifth being an interior chest - with pen slots, flaps, and even open-style hand pockets for the storage trifecta.

  • 9oz One Wash Denim

  • Woven on 50's Era Machines

  • Copper Buttons (will patina)

  • 5 Button Style

  • Pen Slot in Upper Left Pocket

  • Flap Pocket on Upper Left

  • Open Style Hand Pockets at Waist

  • Hidden 5th Pocket on Interior

  • Raglan Sleeves

  • Triple & Double Needle Stitch Throughout

  • Made in Osaka, Japan
