You know, we get a lot of new products coming through the shop here at James Dant nearly every day. There’s something about cracking open a box from Iron Heart that’s really something special. This week we’re excited to show you four new items from one of the industry’s staple brands. Below are some familiar silhouettes as well as a few new ones, including a new denim fit which should please those looking for a straight-leg cut in a heavyweight denim.

Wool Bush Jacket

From what we know, we're one of only 4 stores in America that was able to get our hands on these, and my goodness was it worth the wait. The wool, if not melton, feels as damn close as you can get. It's soft to the touch, to the point where it probably doesn't even need a lining. The interior, however, is lined with a wonderful, luxurious deep blue sateen. You've got pockets in all the right places including hand-warmers and the ever-coveted left interior chest pocket. They've added navy corduroy in multiple places for what can easily be described as one of the best constructed and rarest pieces of the season, maybe that we've ever carried.

14oz Ultra Heavyweight Zip Up Sweater

We fell in love with Iron Heart's Ultra Heavyweight Loopwheel knits last year...a love affair that continues for this zip version. We were so excited to see the veg tan pull up initially thinking this was the hoodie, arriving late. Boy, were we surprised to see the stand-up collar! It's such a brilliant touch for people who want neither a crew neck nor a hoodie. It can be paired as a slightly more dressed-up option here, we think. But make no mistake, this 14oz woven is as rugged as anything Iron Heart makes.

17oz Natural Indigo Selvedge Denim - Straight Cut (634N)

We've been meaning to break into the straight cut world from IH for some time. We couldn't think of a better way to do it than with the natural 17oz denim. We've seen the fades and we must admit...we like it better than the 21oz. It's not quite as heavy but still has a ton of gumption at 17oz. Plus, the natural indigo will fade more like a vintage pair, though it is a stubborn fader. These have all the Iron Heart bells and whistles you know and love. They also feature that infamous beige/brown weft.

17oz Natural Selvedge Denim Fleece Lined Modified Type III Jacket

This has been on the list for a minute. Ever since we saw that natural fleece paired with the quilted red sleeves, we were hooked. It almost makes you want to wear the jacket inside out. This thing truly has all the bells and whistles. The best part of all, even above the lining and corduroy collar, is the fact that this is the 17oz natural selvedge. Natural denim fades so much more like the vintage pairs we all lust over. Versus a synthetic dye, this fabric will show off those lighter blues way faster! This jacket is one for the ages.
