One of Japan’s most prolific denim producers celebrates its 15th year as a company. We are thrilled to celebrate with the release of five new special edition Momotaro pieces.

15.7oz Anniversary Side Pocket Type II Jacket

Man, oh man, have we been waiting on these for a while. We had customers telling us about them before we ever even knew the anniversary series was a thing. Well, they've truly delivered this time with some incredibly stunning 15.7oz Broken Twill Selvedge. They've also hit it with a one-wash treatment to make this weighty, yet soft fabric even softer. The details you see throughout will absolutely blow your mind. We're talking a gold and peach metallic selvedge ID. We're also talking custom branding work throughout. The indigo-dyed deerskin leather has a foil 15 and a custom peach boy with an Eboshi hat. This all relates back to royalty and a coming-of-age ceremony when a Samurai clan member would turn 15. You've got gold brass embossed buttons that shine like no other and copper rivets throughout. The pocket bags are printed with beautiful little symbols and have a jacquard pattern. The details go on and on and you can see all of them below. This truly is a jacket for the ages.

15th Anniversary Denim Shoulder Bag

The 15th Anniversary has been one of our favorite moments of the year. This bad boy is big part of that. We're a big fan of these shoulder bag styles, so you know when a denim version of it popped up we had to snag it. The gold, diagonal battle stripes are also incredible. Plus, the level of detail on this bag is great. You've got all the commemorative pieces of the 15th, but with a twist. The veg tan patch is going to age beautifully as well as the zipper pulls both interior and exterior. Plus, you get the green custom label. This one is one we've personally chosen for our closets.

15th Anniversary GTB Stripe Tee

One of the things people love the most about Momotaro is the contrasting stripes. We love to see things like this with the monochrome stripe. We loved that Momo did a tee-shirt to commemorate their 15th anniversary. It's super fun and quirky. We could all use a little bit of that in our lives right now.
