3Sixteen Fall 21: Crosscut Flannels & KHadi Button Downs
As usual, 3Sixteen has timed the landing of their fall gear exactly when we need it. Two new iterations of the legendary Crosscut Flannel, and two colorways of the new Khadi BD shirt are setting us up quite well for the cooler months ahead.
This right here is what we've been waiting for all season. The crosscut has always been this super stiff, hard-to-break piece that looked fantastic but really took dedication. Well, with 3sixteen's shift in manufacturing, they've been able to produce a crosscut that is not only soft and comfy but constructed to the same level as the previous model. That simply wasn't possible in the US because of the lack of access to proper washhouses. It really is incredible what they can do with fabrics in India. We're fully on board when we feel fabrics like this beauty. They've of course got the iconic cross-back yoke and angled pockets. The enamel-coated buttons have also made a recurrence. We just keep getting smacked in the face with incredible pieces all around, and these are some of the best yet.

This Khadi block shirt is another example of why we're so in support of 3sixteen's new direction. This is something we would have never seen from these guys because it would've jumped the price by an immense amount. Also, the level of seamstress work on this is through the roof. The ability to stitch directly on the edge of a seam like this and its importance in keeping the structure of a lightweight cotton garment is incredible. We think they got these just right. It'll be a perfect shirt to carry you through this journey from hot to cold, that we can never manage to put a tack in...80° to 50° in 24 hours, and back again.
